HHIJGA Mission Statement
"To welcome area youth (ages 7-18) to participate in the HHIJGA. Our objective and goal is to introduce the game of golf, provide scholarships, and create a wide variety of events providing the opportunity for each junior to enjoy golf at his/her own level. We wish to promote and grow the game and have fun in the process."

18 hole and 9 hole event schedule
The HHIJGA, the local chapter of the South Carolina Junior Golf Association (SCJGA) and the Hootie and the Blowfish Junior Golf Tour, offers individual stroke play tournaments for junior golfers of all skill levels. Individual stroke play events are for juniors ready to make the next step in competition, as they will be playing their own ball for either nine or eighteen holes. Juniors who are residents of Beaufort & Jasper County between the ages of 7 and 18, as of June 1, 2023 are welcome to join the Hilton Head Island Junior Golf Association (HHIJGA).
